Pretty for a £1 :)

Image
Hi Guys!! I went hunting for some fabulous new make up in Poundland again! I only found 3 lipsticks this time but they are all Rimmel ones and I am totally in love with all three of them!!!  The first one I found is one of the Kate Moss range for Rimmel! It is a beautiful bright pink shade and is called 06. It goes on like a dream and the colour is just stunning!  The second lipstick is from the Lasting Finish line and is in the shade One Of A Kind. I would describe it as a dusky pink/purple. It is a really nice day time colour and I can see myself wearing it a lot :)  The final lipstick I found is from the Moisture Renew line in the shade Coffee Shimmer. It is STUNNING! A really beautiful dark nude lipstick that I love! I will wear this one all the time!  Thanks for reading guys, if there are any products you would like me to review or tutorials you would like to see just send me a message <3

ZAO Make Up

Image
Hey Guys!! Sorry again for the tardiness in my postings! January is a mental month isn't it!! Well, I have found a new brand that I just LOVE!! They are called ZAO and you can find them  here :) Their make up is STUNNING and is available to buy either as a fresh product, or you can buy refills of lipsticks and eye shadows to reduce the waste of packaging, which in my eyes is just awesome! Their make up is all 100% organic and they use Bamboo to create the casings for their products and in the formula of the cosmetics. ZAO also have an Ecocert organic certification and are BUAV approved, meaning their products are completely cruelty free! It's also useful to note that their products are mostly suitable for vegans! Apart from some of the cream based products that contain beeswax. I am not personally a vegan or vegetarian however I know people that are, and it can be a struggle to find cosmetics to suit your needs, however ZAO has you covered :) For more info on the be...

Making Tinted Moisturiser.

Image
Hi guys!! Finding a tinted moisturiser to suit your skin can be an absolute pain in the bum! There are so many shades, and considering you only want a light coverage, the last thing you want to do is turn orange! Even pale orange is NOT a good look haha. So today I will be going over a really quick and easy way to make your own tinted moisturiser from home! What you will need: A small pot to put it in (I used a pot from a  Body Shop sample), a thick moisturiser, A face powder in your desired shade (I used translucent), and an optional extra is sunscreen to add a little SPF protection too it. What to do: Clean out your pot fully, then fill up half of it with your moisturiser, leaving a little bit of room below the rim. If you are not adding sun cream then fill the whole pot with the moisturiser.    If you are adding sun cream then fill the other half of the pot with it. Next add as much face powder as it takes to get your desired colour. If the mix g ets too dry add more m...

Making Lip Balm!!

Image
Hi Guys!!!  I am sorry I have been absent for so long, the new year has been sooooo busy I haven't had chance to get out and about much or write a new blog :( I am sure you have seen this tutorial alllll over YouTube, but I thought I would give it a go as it looked really fun and tons cheaper than buying loads of different lipbalms!  What you need: Vaseline, Crayola Crayons, a heat proof bowl (I used a bigger one than this in the end) and a pot to put your new lipbalm in! I bought mine as part of a travel set of empty pots from Poundland, for this one I  just put the new lipbalm back in the Vaseline tin, but for others I have made from a big pot of Vaseline I have used the little pots.  How you do it. First you need to choose the colour you want your lip balm to be. For this I used the colour red but you can use any colour or even mix different coloured crayons to make your own colour :) you need to completely strip the  crayon of all it's wrapper and snap it in...

Pretty for a £1!

Image
Hi Guys! Hope you have all had a fabulous christmas and got everything you wanted :) So, I went out to hit the Boxing Day sales and found myself drawn to the pound shop beauty sections! I had a good rummage and this is what I found :) Poundland. TOWIE Paparazzi Eye Bling Lashes. These lashes are GORGEOUS. They have a subtle line of glitter across the lash line that makes your eyes really stand out. The lashes are nice and thick, the only downside is that the glue isn't brilliant, so I just use my own Eyelure one. W7 Secret Concealer Kit. This little pot comes with two shades of concealer and a setting powder. The cream itself is a little thin for me so I found I had to put a lot on to get the coverage I needed, however if you only needed light coverage this little kit would be fantastic! NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick. I was so excited to find a NYX lipstick for a pound! I have always wanted to try this brand so I g...

Smoothly Does It - Pressed Powder

Image
Hi Guys! Here is another review of a Poundland Make Up Gallery product. The Smoothly Does It Pressed Powder. This product comes in 4 colours (Translucent, Sand, Natural Beige and Honey Beige). I purchased the Translucent one as I have really fair skin.  I apply it over the top of my foundation if I am going on a night out, or I just apply it on its own during the day for just a nice light coverage. It goes on beautifully with a large brush, and it has a smell that really reminds me of the old school Rimmel pressed powders, which is something I love about it as I love that smell!! All in all I give this product a 5 out of 5. The powder goes on really smoothly and gives a really nice even coverage. The smell of it is just divine and it lasts all night! I did a full night on canal street yesterday in it and it stayed the whole time! To check out the other products in the range  click here :) Thanks for reading guys, if there are a...
